Geneva School of Motoring - Kettering Welcome to Geneva, a driving school of excellence, presented in a very easy, understandable and gentle way. Indeed our very name is produced by that thinking.

Gentle Education for New Enthusiastic Vehicle Appreciation and Driving.

It is our intention to teach all aspects of good driving in a complete and enjoyable way, this also includes assistance with the much feared 'Theory Test'.

We at Geneva are aware of how exhilarating it is to many individuals - that feeling of passing 'The Driving Test' - it is a moment in all drivers' experience, which is never forgotton. That feeling when you leave the Test Centre with your 'Pass' is a feeling that you will always look back on with great pride, and the equally exhilarating feeling of owning and driving your first car.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you well on the journey of discovering the driver of excellence within you. We would also like to thank you for choosing Geneva School of Motoring to share that journey with you.

With best wishes

Paul R White

A New Concept in Driver Education

Ever since the motorcar was first invented it has been necessary to learn to drive it. In the early days this was not difficult. There were not many cars about and provided that you knew how to start the car, move off, increase and decrease speed and stop, then you could drive. As more people were able to afford cars the volume of traffic increased, and to accomodate them, road systems became more complex. At the same time, laws governing the administration and movement of motor vehicles increased and vehicles themselves became capable of moving at much higher speeds, requiring a greater degree of skill in order to drive them safely.

In order to keep pace with the changing conditions, the Driving Test was introduced in 1935. Later, it became apparent that if learner drivers were to be taught to drive safely, then the Driving Instructors would also have to be tested. The Register of Approved Driving Instructors was introduced in 1964. To be able to use the title, Department of Transport Approved Driving Instructor, the instructor must pass three very searching examinations thereby proving him/her to be an expert in the field of driver training.

Our Driving Instructor is approved by the Department of Transport and is a proven expert in the field of driver training, and therefore his name is entered on the Register held by the Driving Standards Agency.

Our Instructor is: Mr Paul R White B.Mphs.,D.S.A.A.D.I.
